"Wet" is an album released by Barbra Streisand in 1979. The album is a concept album of sorts with all the songs referring to, or expressing different interpretations of, water. Wet is also the first and the last word sung on the album. The album was a major success for Barbra Streisand, due largely to the album's #1 hit single, "No More Tears (Enough Is Enough)", a duet with American disco singer Donna Summer which underwent a retitling and change of emphasis in order to qualify under the water theme. The third track on the album, "Splish Splash", is Barbra Streisand's cover of the Bobby Darin classic, which featured background vocals by Toto lead singer Bobby Kimball.

Southern Rock, Blues Rock | Label: BGO Records

This 2013 BGO two-fer combines 1977's Manorisms and the following year's Which One's Willie?, the two records Wet Willie released on Epic after a prolonged stint at Capricorn. The shift in labels was accompanied by a shift in sound, with the group largely abandoning its signature Southern rock in favor of a super-slick mainstream pop/rock sound, one that found space for arena-rock workouts, power ballads, funky vamps, and a fair share of yacht rock, where soft sounds took precedence over full-tilt boogie. Whether or not this is a good thing depends entirely on taste. Both recordings made the US Top 200 with the singles 'Weekend' and 'Street Corner Serenade' making the Top 30.

Wet Dream was the first solo album from Pink Floyd keyboardist Richard Wright, released in 1978. Following the release of the 1977 album Animals and its accompanying "In the Flesh" tour, Pink Floyd went on hiatus, having become popular enough to support solo albums by bandmembers who were inclined to make them. Guitarist David Gilmour and keyboard player Richard Wright were. For his album, Wright assembled some of the backing musicians who had been accompanying Pink Floyd for years, in particular reed player Mel Collins and guitarist Snowy White. So it was no surprise that the resulting record, Wet Dream, sounded like outtakes from Pink Floyd sessions. Wright's keyboards had always been a major element in the Pink Floyd sound, and his singing and songwriting had also been a big part of the group's music…
