John Miley has compiled the most comprehensive audio account of baseball history in existence -a vast and wildly entertaining assemblage of game tapes that is sure to inform, entertain, and appeal to anybody nostalgic for baseball's storied history. Narrated by Bob Costas, Baseball Forever! brings you highlights from Miley's collection, with numerous clips available for the first time since their original transmission. Bestselling author Jason Turbow (The Baseball Codes) mines the archive with Miley himself, taking us to some of baseball's greatest settings, classic moments, amazing feats while guided by the game's legendary broadcasters.
It was one of the most commonly used phrases in MTV's Miley Cyrus documentary, which aired Wednesday night and was conveniently titled "Miley: The Movement." The hour-long documentary took us from the release of "We Can't Stop" to Miley's talked-about VMA performance. Despite Miley's multiple vague references to The Movement, I still have no idea when it's arriving and whether I should buy extra rations in preparation. The documentary also failed to explain Miley's erratic tongue movements, or Billy Ray Cyrus' recent whereabouts. An extended version will apparently air Sunday, so maybe we shouldn't abandon hope. I'd also like to see more Britney Spears-Miley Cyrus conversations.
