The software can perfectly convert pdf into an epub format. PDF is mainly used for layout and fixes the page size; epub is a stream format, which is similar to the html page. Therefore, converting pdf into epub is not an easy task (e.g. paragraph detection, multi-column processing, and the conversion of tables, mathematical formulas, and charts). The general converter can just convert pdf rigidly, so the format becomes a mess. For slightly more complex documents, almost all cannot be read after conversion.
