Deconstruction Records is a British record label founded in 1987 by Pete Hadfield and Keith Blackhurst, together with Mike Pickering of M People. It initially specialised in house anthems such as K Klass's "Rhythm Is A Mystery" and Bassheads' "Is There Anybody Out There?", as well as M People's output, but also had a record in promoting underground dance acts such as Dave Clarke. Hits included Robert Miles's UK No.2 hit "Children", Felix's twice UK Top Ten hit "Don't You Want Me" and Italian techno act U. S. U. R. A.'s UK No.7 hit, "Open Your Mind".
It was home to Kylie Minogue in the mid-late 1990s, when working with Saint Etienne, Brothers in Rhythm (who produced her single "Confide in Me"), and others.

Moving Lessons: Margaret H'Doubler and the Beginning of Dance in American Education by Janice Ross
University of Wisconsin Press; 1 edition | August 4, 2000 | English | ISBN: 0299169308 | 336 pages | PDF | 21 MB

Moving Lessons is an insightful and sophisticated look at the origins and influence of dance in American universities, focusing on Margaret H'Doubler, who established the first university courses and the first degree program in dance (at the University of Wisconsin). Dance educator and historian Janice Ross shows that H'Doubler (1889–1982) was both emblematic of her time and an innovator who made deep imprints in American culture.

In 1990, the Residents took their grand examination of rock & roll on the road, touring the world with the Cube E tour. The first half found the group reciting cowboy poems to a soundtrack influenced more by Copland and Orff than country & western, then followed with a group of blues, field hollers, and warped jazz that represented the African-American experience. By intermission, the two had combined into rock music, which in the second half was disseminated by an aging Elvis impersonator tearing through Presley covers (essentially a live version of their 1989 album The King and Eye). The staging, costumes, lights, and general performance were not to be missed, and earned justifiable rave reviews.

The Post-War Reconstruction of Greece: A History of Economic Stabilization and Development, 1944-1952 By George Politakis
English | PDF,EPUB | 2017 (2018 Edition) | 294 Pages | ISBN : 1137575697 | 4.89 MB

The book presents the first comprehensive account of how economists, engineers and industrialists mapped out the economic future of Greece in the aftermath of civil war devastation. It documents the policy debate that took place among Greece and its sponsors about the future course of the economy, the required investment and their financing. Through historical narrative, archival sources and oral history, this book offers a better understanding of the achievements proclaimed by many economists as an “economic miracle”.
