Credited to Merrell & the Exiles, this is a selection of rarities and unreleased material by Merrell Wayne Fankhauser's mid-'60s band, essentially the one that cut the great rare psych-folk-rock album that was credited to Fapardokly. It's pretty much a collection of outtakes with a few rare non-LP singles thrown in, and as such doesn't measure up to the best of Fankhauser's '60s material. Often derivative of the British Invasion, folk-rock, and early '60s teen pop, it's not bad, just not terribly memorable…

"Harmonia Mundi" recorded live by Steve Roach and Swiss-born electronic musician Thomas Ronkin, around 1982-83 in The Timeroom, Culver City, California. Steve Roach: "This is completely analog and pre-midi. All the sequencers were synchronized by a master analog clock. We set up on a Saturday morning and created a variety of sequences and patterns for a few hours. After a triple espresso, our mutual passion for this form of music drove the session towards the heart of the sequencer universe"…

Testify!: The Best Of The Early Years is a 2000 compilation by the Detroit vocal group, The Parliaments, fronted by George Clinton. This consists of material they released on the Revilot label, along with a few tracks they did as/with The Fellows on the Revilot-subsidiary Solid Hit. They would morph into two more groups, Funkadelic and Parliament but this was Clinton and his friends as a vocal group. This was released by Conoisseur Collection Ltd.
