Great album of Mikis Theodorakis, hymn to the human rights and the fight for freedom. Songs written in the prisons, describing the tortures and humiliations of the political prisoners during the military junta for "disobedience to the instructions". The arangements are minimalistic, just voices, a guitar and a mandolin, to remind the way those songs were whispered and murmured by hundreds of prisoners. The voices: Mikis Theodorakis, Maria Farantouri, Maria Dimitriadi and Lakis Karalis. A soul-stirring work of Mikis, anthem for all human beings fighting for their rights. All those who dare to protest and disobey.
