When I first looked at the cover for Antry’s new album, I saw the grizzled visage of Steve Antry looking back at me with the defiant look of an old-time preacher getting ready to wrestle the devil to the ground. That’s appropriate for an album called, Devil Don’t Care, that mixes some beautiful gospel and country flavors in with some very cool blues rock. Atry has assembled a great group of musicians for his latest effort, including himself on vocals and electric guitar along with Greg Morrow on drums; Michael Rhodes on bass; Rob McNelley, Pat Buchanan, and Brent Mason on electric guitar; Dan Dugmore and Danny Rader on acoustic guitar; Dugmore also plays lap steel guitar; David Smith and Mike Rojas on piano, B3, and keys; Buchanan on harp; and Eric Darkken and Peter Carson on percussion.

Predating Metallica's self-titled blockbuster by 11 years, Judas Priest's British Steel was a similarly pitched landmark boasting many of the same accomplishments. It streamlined and simplified the progressive intricacies of a band fresh off of revolutionizing the entire heavy metal genre; it brought an aggressive, underground metal subgenre crashing into the mainstream (in Priest's case, the NWOBHM; in Metallica's, thrash); and it greatly expanded the possibilities for heavy metal's commercial viability as a whole. Of course, British Steel was nowhere near the sales juggernaut that Metallica was, but in catapulting Judas Priest to the status of stadium headliners…

This is the long awaited acoustic album from Keith Thompson. A raw and passionate collection of songs showcasing the singer/songwriter in Keith. As the title suggests strength and weakness, the songs tackle subjects as diverse as lost love, the Mississipi floods, moral choices and political correctness. Also featuring some great slide guitar from Keith and some mean saxophone from Patsy Gamble. Keith is primarily a songwriter and a guitarist although he plays many instruments. He performs music on a professional level solo or with great musicians in The Keith Thompson Band in the genre of blues/rock.He also writes and records music, some of which have been used on TV, computer games and production company releases…

Don Henley doesn't move fast because he can afford not to hurry. He can spend the better part of a decade waiting out a record contract, labor on a 90-minute Eagles reunion for maybe half a decade, then take another eight years before returning with Cass County, his first solo album in 15 years and only fifth overall. That's the mark of a man who takes his time, but all that chronology pales compared to the true journey Cass County represents: a return to Henley's country roots, whether they lie in the blissed-out, mellow sunshine of Southern California or the Texas home that provides this record with its name…

Bone Against Steel is the ninth studio album by the southern rock band 38 Special, released in 1991. It was their last album until their 1996 comeback and the last album to feature the vocalist and keyboard player Max Carl. The album itself was a modest commercial success and only reached #170 on the Billboard 200 album chart. However, the single "The Sound of Your Voice", was a major hit, and one of three songs co-written by Survivor's Jim Peterik for the album. The song, with a vocal hook in the chorus very reminiscent of Survivor's "I Can't Hold Back", reached #2 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart and #33 on the Billboard Hot 100, while the second of the three Peterik songs, "Rebel to Rebel", only reached #30 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart.

The Stones, or more accurately the relationship between Mick and Keith, imploded shortly after Dirty Work, resulting in Mick delivering a nearly unbearably mannered, ambitious solo effort that stiffed and Keith knocking out the greatest Stones album since Tattoo You, something that satisfied the cult but wasn't a hit. Clearly, they were worth more together than they were apart, so it was time for the reunion, and that's what Steel Wheels is – a self-styled reunion album…

That Don't Make Me a Bad Guy is the twelfth studio album from American country music artist Toby Keith. The album was released October 28, 2008 on Show Dog Nashville, Keith's own label, and was produced by Keith himself. He wrote or co-wrote all the songs on this album, collaborating with Bobby Pinson on all but three. Lead-off single "She Never Cried in Front of Me" became a number one hit for Keith on the Billboard country charts in late October 2008, as did "God Love Her", the second single, in March 2009. A third single, "Lost You Anyway", was released on March 16, 2009. The album was certified Gold in December 2008.

Don Felder, most famous for being the rocking guitar player, along with Joe Walsh, in the Eagles, is back with his first solo album in 30 years, the first since 1983. After a hard falling out with the Eagles and a divorce, Felder began crafting songs to describe where he was at in his life. The album mixes classic Felder/Eagles sounding tunes such as “Fall from the Grace of Love” and “Road to Forever” with more modern sounding contemporary songs like “Wash Away” and “I Believe in You.” Road To Forever is a worthy addition to anyone’s “Solo Eagles” collection.

Not long after creating the impressive and fully self-produced debut “No Escape”, At Vance hit the studio to record a follow up with a few new members and a full arsenal of ideas. In terms of both production and songwriting, this album is very similar to the debut, though the way it begins is less abrupt and functions more as a traditional power metal release…
