The show features all the classics like ‘There’s A Kind of Hush’, ‘Close To You’, ‘Rainy Days and Mondays’, ‘A Song For You’ and more, plus Dami’s hit singles ‘Alive’, ‘Super Love’ and ‘Gladiator’. She will also reprise her stunning song for the Eurovision Song Contest, ‘Sound of Silence’, which is already polling in the top 5 out of 46 countries on the fan polls, with the incredible video being viewed almost 2 million times since its release! Some may ask why a tribute album (covers)… fact is no one asks opera singers why they rinse repeat Tosca etc etc. One of the biggest shames of the pop era is the buyer mentality of disposable music (affecting pop styles globally, some countries worse then others). I'm personally very happy that Dami has released this selection of great Classic Carpenters… in her own unique style.

The duo’s best album, and the place to start beyond the hits compilations. Up to the release of A Song for You, the Carpenters’ success had seemed an awesome if somewhat fluky phenomenon, built on prodigious talent, some beautifully crafted pop sensibilities, and a very fortunate choice of singles — their albums Close to You and Carpenters, though they were top-sellers, both seemed just a bit thrown together.
