Screen legend Ben Gazzara (Husbands, Saint Jack) headlines this gentle, amiable comedy drama. He stars as Jake Palladin, a famed Hollywood actor (and two-time Oscar winner) self-exiled to Guatemala. Jake's life gets shaken up with the arrival of young and conceited Hollywood talent agent Josh Ross (David Moscow), who has been shuttled off to Jake's Central American small town to retrieve the aging actor and pull him out of hiding. Unfortunately, locating Jake proves far more difficult than Josh anticipates, and he must rely heavily on the assistance and support of the local community - which he resents - to find the great thespian. Though Josh eventually succeeds in locating his man, neither he nor Jake can anticipate the journeys of self-discovery that their encounter will engender, forcing each man to reconfront his long-abandoned past.

Paice Ashton Lord was a short-lived British rock band featuring Deep Purple band members Ian Paice and Jon Lord with singer Tony Ashton. The band was formed in 1976, released its only album in 1977 and broke up in 1978. Recorded in 1977, on the tails of the post-Deep Purple supergroup's Malice In Wonderland album, this extremely well-recorded broadcast catches the trio (and friends) stretching out in directions that the album itself never managed. On vinyl, after all, PAL sounded constricted, forever teetering on the brink of a no-holds-barred jam, but never quite mustering the strength to leap in. On stage, however, the improvisational instincts that Paice and Lord had built their very reputations upon were given full rein to spread and stretch…

Definitely Maybe is the debut studio album by the English rock band Oasis, released on 29 August 1994 by Creation Records. It was an immediate commercial and critical success in the UK, having followed on the heels of singles "Supersonic", "Shakermaker" and "Live Forever". The album helped to spur a revitalisation in British pop music in the nineties and was embraced by critics for its optimistic themes and supposed rebuttal of the downtrodden fatalism evident in the dominant grunge music of the time. Definitely Maybe is regarded as a seminal record of the Britpop scene, and has appeared in many publications' 'best of' lists. The album is also popular among audiences: in June 2006, NME magazine conducted a readers' poll in which it was voted the greatest album of all time.

"Make It Big" is the second studio album from British pop duo Wham!, released in 1984. It was mostly recorded at Studio Miraval in Southern France to escape the press and enable George Michael to work peacefully and mixed at Good Earth Studios in London and Marcadet Studios in Paris. In comparison to their earlier work, the duo had more control over the album's production, as George Michael became the sole credited producer, a position he would subsequently hold on all future releases until the group split in 1986.
