Harvey Mason's 2014 effort, Chameleon, is an expansive and funky album that finds the journeyman jazz drummer exploring the space between the '70s post-bop/fusion albums that marked his early career and the contemporary smooth jazz work that has defined the latter half of his career. Having started out playing with the masterful pianist Erroll Garner, Mason eventually join Herbie Hancock's legendary Headhunters ensemble, with whom he recorded the original version of this album's title track. And while he went on to a successful career working with a bevy of artists including Lee Ritenour, George Benson, and others, it is primarily his work with Hancock that is Mason's focus here.

Behavioral Neurobiology of Psychedelic Drugs By Adam L. Halberstadt
English | PDF | 2018 | 434 Pages | ISBN : 3662558785 | 10.83 MB

This volume brings together the latest basic and clinical research examining the effects and underlying mechanisms of psychedelic drugs. Examples of drugs within this group include LSD, psilocybin, and mescaline. Despite their structural differences, these compounds produce remarkably similar experiences in humans and share a common mechanism of action. Commonalities among the substances in this family are addressed both at the clinical and phenomenological level and at the basic neurobiological mechanism level. To the extent possible, contributions relate the clinical and preclinical findings to one another across species. The volume addresses both the risks associated with the use of these drugs and the potential medical benefits that might be associated with these and related compounds.

FLAC (tracks+.cue+log) | 2:15:15 | 310 Mb
Genre: Jazz, Pop, Christmas / Label: Capitol Records

Peggy Lee's voice conveys all of the moods of the season joy, peacefulness, fun, sacredness. There's even a touch of mischief in Santa Claus is Comin' to Town. It rides effortlessly on top of the gentle arrangements of Billy May. With all those good things, the best thing about the album are the original songs by Peggy Lee. Particularly good is the title track, which swirls so beautifully that you can feel your heart and soul being lifted.
