On the evening of April 1, 2015, a stellar lineup of musicians gathered in Downtown L.A. at the Ace Hotel’s sold out The Theatre for The Music of David Lynch, a sweeping tribute to the filmmaker in celebration of the David Lynch Foundation‘s 10th anniversary. It never happened before and it will probably never happen again, but 16 highlights* from that magical night have now been collected on a double vinyl album due for release on April 15, 2016.
The Short Films of David Lynch (2002) is a DVD collection of the early student and commissioned film work of American filmmaker David Lynch. As such, the collection does not include Lynch's later short works, which are listed in the filmography. The films are listed in chronological order, with brief descriptions of each film. The DVD contains introductions by Lynch to each film, which can be viewed individually or in sequence to each other.
Wicked Sensation is the debut album by American hard rock band Lynch Mob. This was musician George Lynch's first release since leaving the Hair Metal group Dokken. Singer-songwriter Oni Logan provided vocals, contributed to the lyrics and composition and also played harmonica. Also joining George was Dokken drummer "Wild" Mick Brown. The album had two relatively successful singles, with "River Of Love" climbing to the #19 spot on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart as well as "Wicked Sensation" reaching #31 on that chart.
