That matchless British farceur Spike Milligan stars in The Great McGonagall. The story concerns indigent Scotsman William McGonagall, who aspires to become Poet Laureate of Great Britain. McGonagall might have a better chance of accomplishing this if he had any talent, but he is hilariously inept. The plot is abandoned somewhere in the middle of the film in favor of a series of virtually unrelated comic episodes. Peter Sellers, Spike Milligan's onetime Goon Show cohort, steals the show in drag as a sexually voracious Queen Victoria!

Missus Beastly (1974). The history of Missus Beastly from Herford is very confusing. Their first LP from 1970, self-titled, with a red cover - still could be filed under "Underground". "Nara asst incense" is an illegal re-release of this LP. Their second record - again self-titled, in a gorilla cover - came out in 1974. It is instrumental jazz-rock, played by a significantly changed line-up. The corresponding Germanofon bootleg CD presents three bonus tracks which are not, however, songs of our Missus Beastly. To crown it all, there was a group that had the audacity to pose as Missus Beastly and even released records under their name…

Recorded early 1974 at the SWF-Studio in Baden-Baden, Germany by the same line-up that recorded the second Missus Beastly album. Improved versions of older titles and some new songs showcase the band's great talent for improvisations. This kind of instrumental kraut-jazzrock is timeless. The musical orientation of the new Missus Beastly rather followed Afro-American than European music traditions, but it was still influenced by that certain Krautrock feel. Great music by a great band. Digitally remastered from original master tape. Comes with informative booklet and rare photos.

Sneakin' Sally Through the Alley is Robert Palmer's debut solo album, released in 1974. It was his first effort after three album releases co-fronting the band Vinegar Joe. Palmer is backed by The Meters and Lowell George of Little Feat. Multiple reviewers have commented that Palmer sang confidently on this album, despite being backed by more accomplished musicians such as Lowell George, Art Neville and New Orleans singer-songwriter Allen Toussaint. Recorded in New Orleans, Louisiana, New York, and Compass Point Studios in Nassau, the album was released on compact disc in 1990. The album peaked at #107 in the US.
