In contrast to almost all sources it's very likely that this amazing, Spanish-only album was the first Tucky Buzzard LP ever - even earlier than oficial, self-titled US Capitol debut from May 1971! Most probably this forgotten, hard progressive classic was taped in Madrid in late '70 (still with first drummer Paul Francis who soon after went to Fuzzy Duck) and then released somewhere in 1971 by Hispavox label. lt's worth noting that some parts of album were recorded with a little help of Madrid Philharmonic Orchestra - especially 14-minutes long title suite which is fascinating and truly awesome work full of rich melodies and shifting rhythms. Undoubtedly this very impressive and freshly sounding mixture of pure heavy rock and orchestral sounds is the best Tucky Buzzard LP ever recorded!
Anthology is singer-songwriter Carly Simon's 26th album, and first anthology album, released in November 2002. It is a two-disc set with all the songs personally picked by Simon. Over the course of the two discs, every one her studio albums (up until that point) is represented with at least one song (not including her just-released Christmas album or her 1993 opera, Romulus Hunt: A Family Opera, on which she only actually performs on one track). The booklet features numerous photographs from Simon's archives, as well as extensive liner notes by Jack Mauro, a lifelong fan of Simon's.
The EVA labels were a group of sisterlabels made for compilations and Best-Of albums released as joint ventures between the national divisions of EMI, Virgin and Ariola. The label became active in 1984 but is now defunct in all countries. Early EVA albums were released with the logos of the three individual labels. Sometimes the label name EVA was not mentioned on those releases. Active from 1985 until 1997. In 1990 the labels Warner Music, Sony Music and Phonogram/Polydor founded Magnum as its counterpart.
