The boogie woogie was a style of music that was popular until the 50's and 60 since its emergence in the late nineteenth and early last century, which was generated as an evolution of the 'blues', to make it fast and dance, and was an influential precedent of the 'rock'. This CD offers a varied collection of 21 songs performed by some of the first pianists who achieved renown in this style and that really can be considered a remarkable generation of it, which led to its peak especially between the late 20th and mid-40.
