Jade Warrior never scored a hit single and it seems bizarre to think that anyone ever dreamed it could. Buried away on side two of its third album, however, "The Demon Trucker" not only has unexpected smash written all over it, but the words were large enough that the band's U.K. label Vertigo clearly felt the same way…
But Last Autumn’s Dream distinctive sound remains intact in "Paintings", a proper title as the new record is a colorful melodic rock album with varied melodies. Despite the lost of Andy Malecek, the band has gained a fresh sonic delivery thanks to Soderstrom's modern guitar contributions. His set up sound - and the way he builds the riffs - has more in common to former Europe axeman Kee Marcello, providing a 'swirling' vibe to the songs.
Japanese original greatest hits album from Last Autumn's Dream includes tracks selected from their first album through the latest one "TEN TANGERINE TALES." Features 2013 remaster. Includes a newly remixed version of "Up In Paradise", plus 3 new recordings: acoustic versions of "Again And Again", "After Tomorrow's Gone", and a cover of John Lennon's "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)".
As usual, Swedes LAST AUTUMN'S DREAM releases a new album at the end of each year, first in Japan and a couple months after in Europe. Titled "Level Eleven", this is indeed the album number 11 from this Melodic Rock combo commanded by singer Mikael Erlandsson. "Level Eleven" is expected for Feb. 20, 2015 in Europe via AOR Heaven Records, but the Asian market has the holiday present already in stores. "Level Eleven" is available in Japan on a regular version, and this, First Limited Edition including a Bonus Disc.
Last Autumn's Dream is the third studio album by British band Jade Warrior. The album, released in 1972, was well received, and yielded two singles, in A Winter's Tale and The Demon Trucker. Last Autumn's Dream was Jade Warriors first album to feature Tony Duhig's brother, David Duhig, who co-wrote The Demon Trucker with the band, as well as playing guitar on the track. David returned for the next two studio albums, and then again in 1984 (Horizen) and 1998 (Eclipse and Fifth Element).
As usual, Swedes LAST AUTUMN'S DREAM release their new albums first in Asia, around Christmas time. That's the case again with the band's tenth CD "Ten Tangerine Tales", which will be available in Europe on January 25, 2013.
