This seminal, highly acclaimed 1959 gospel album from mandolin player Ira and guitarist Charlie Louvin remains the most significant release from the influential brothers, best known as a country act and mentioned by Elvis Presley as "his favourite duet." Satan Is Real is so closely associated with the brothers that its title was borrowed for a 2012 autobiography, co-written by Charlie Louvin not long before his death.

Although Twisted Sister's final studio album wasn't as commercially successful as its predecessors, it is still Twisted in every way and a great record. The album was supposed to be a Dee Snider solo record, but Atlantic forced Dee's hand and had the album released under the Twisted Sister name. Apparently, Dee Snider's Twisted Sister band mates didn’t actually play on the album. "Love Is For Suckers" was put together by Snider, Ronni Le Tekro (guitarist for TNT), Reb Beach (the soon to be guitarist for Winger), and producer Beau Hill. But since Dee Snider wrote all of Twisted Sister's material, the songwriting style on "Love Is For Suckers" wasn’t a far cry from Twisted Sister’s previous work.

Recorded over the course of several shows at the Palladium in London in October, 1976, this set captures Marvin Gaye at a crossroads both personally and in his career. He reportedly agreed to tour Europe to make a fresh start, distance himself from his problems and make some quick money to pay off debts. None of the troubled artist is apparent in Gaye's performances as he soulfully covers material from his entire career up to that point. Of special note are three lengthy, intimate medleys of early hits. The only studio recording on this album is the side-long disco song Got to Give It Up which was tacked onto the original double vinyl to capitalize on the growing disco craze of the mid 1970s. Live At The London Palladium was a surprise hit in 1977, selling two million copies in the US and becoming one of the top ten best-selling albums of the year. An edited single version of Got to Give It Up reached number one on the Billboard singles chart.

For many fans, You Can’t Stop Rock ‘N’ Roll is the definitive Twisted Sister “metal” album with one little power ballad to make the girls scream.

"Come Out And Play" is the follow up to the monstrous "Stay Hungry" album that catapulted Twisted Sister to the masses. "Come Out And Play" includes a number of stylistic diversions, including a lighthearted cover of the '50s standard "Leader of the Pack", and a song in which several non-heavy metal stars (Billy Joel, Brian Setzer, among others) are featured, "Be Chrool to Your Scuel". There are also songs that are reminiscent of the band's heavy metal past, like the title track and "Kill Or Be Killed".

It would eventually achieve Platinum certification in 1986.

James Thurston Nabors was an American actor, singer, and comedian. "The Complete Columbia Christmas Recordings" combines Jim Nabors' two holiday albums for Columbia – 1967's Jim Nabors' Christmas Album and 1972's Merry Christmas – adding a couple of seasonal religious tunes from 1968's The Lord's Prayer & Other Sacred Songs and 1971's How Great Thou Art for good measure (as it happens, these bonus cuts include two different versions of "Ave Maria." Of the two albums, the 1967 set is slightly stuffier – there's a reliance on old-fashioned carols and the string arrangements are a bit stiff – but 1971 conjures just a bit of the spirit of Hollywood holiday specials, its strings feeling slightly snazzy, not starchy. His sensibility belongs in an era that was bypassed when these records were recorded, so this release functions as dual nostalgia: pining for pining for days of Christmas past.
