Eddie Layton was an American organist and composer. After the Second World War he wrote music for television soap operas and recorded 27 albums of organ music. He also played the organ at old Yankee Stadium for nearly 40 years, earning him membership in the New York Sports Hall of Fame. He was the only organist to play for 3 New York sports teams: the New York Yankees (baseball, Yankee Stadium), the New York Knicks (basketball, Madison Square Garden) and the New York Rangers (ice hockey, Madison Square Garden).

John D. Loudermilk Jr. was an American singer and songwriter. Although he had his own recording career during the 1950s and 1960s, he was primarily known as a songwriter. His best-known songs include "Indian Reservation", a 1968 UK cover by Don Fardon and a 1971 U.S. No.1 hit for Paul Revere & the Raiders; "Ebony Eyes", a 1961 U.K. No.1 and U.S. No.8 for the Everly Brothers; "Tobacco Road", a 1964 Top 20 hit in both the U.S. and the U.K. for the Nashville Teens; "This Little Bird", a U.K. No.6 for Marianne Faithfull in 1965, and "Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye", a U.S. Top Ten hit in 1967 for the Casinos and also a U.S. No.1 country hit for Eddy Arnold the following year.

Alois Maxwell "Al" Hirt was an American trumpeter and bandleader. He is best remembered for his million-selling recordings of "Java" and the accompanying album Honey in the Horn (1963), and for the theme song to The Green Hornet. His nicknames included "Jumbo" and "The Round Mound of Sound". Colin Escott, an author of musician biographies, wrote that RCA Victor Records, for which Hirt had recorded most of his best-selling recordings and for which he had spent much of his professional recording career, had dubbed him with another moniker: "The King." Hirt was inducted into The Louisiana Music Hall of Fame in November 2009.

James Travis Reeves was an American country and popular music singer-songwriter. With records charting from the 1950s to the 1980s, he became well known as a practitioner of the Nashville sound (a mixture of older country-style music with elements of popular music). He is a member of both the Country Music and Texas Country Music Halls of Fame. Known as "Gentleman Jim", his songs continued to chart for years after his death. Reeves died in 1964 in the crash of his private airplane. This posthumous RCA's album peaked at #1 at the U.S. Country charts.
