Systematic Chaos is the upcoming ninth studio release of the progressive metal band Dream Theater. It is Dream Theater's first album with Roadrunner Records. Systematic Chaos was written and recorded from September 2006 to January 2007 at Avatar Studios in New York City, co-produced by drummer Mike Portnoy and guitarist John Petrucci and engineered by Paul Northfield. The final mix was signed off on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2007.
